Backwards and Upside Down Backwards and Upside Down

shirt- DIY, overalls- Gap, shoes- Topshop

Since the second post on this blog, I’ve been wearing things backwards. The obsession started relatively innocently, with an oatmeal colored cardigan. And now, here I am, two years later, wearing overalls backwards. And a shirt backwards. And inside out braids. Don’t worry though, my shoes were the right way around, and on the right foot. But seriously, like everything else, clothing has more than one side, and part of maximizing cost per wear is maximizing the way you can wear it. Overalls backwards might be the most extreme version of this, but why not give backwards clothing a chance?

  1. I love the theory about backward clothing. Clothing with a story or meaning is something that makes dressing up the most fun thing ever! I have always wanted to give overalls a shot but I can’t seem to have any chance. You look super cute!
